Well, this one took a little while. Oris Carmac was my wife’s uncle…her father’s older brother. I’m writing about him because we are planning to visit France, and Oris was involved in the D-Day invasion. Little did I know that he was in the middle of the most hellish fighting on Omaha Beach. So this post evolved into a separate webpage for Oris and his journey.
